Bradley Palmer State Park - Topsfield
Great place for hiking, biking, picnicking, canoeing and bird watching.  One mile paved road is great for rollerblading and there is a wading pond in season for the young ones.  Entrance off Highland Street and on Asbury Street, off of Topsfield Road.

Cable Gardens Hill - Ipswich
Sloping hill just in front of Cable Gardens.  Excellent for sledding and snow-tubing in the winter.  Located at the corner of Routes 1A and 133.
Crane Beach - Ipswich
Free admission for Ipswich residents with a beach sticker.
Daniel Boone Park - Ipswich
Picnicking, hiking and fishing in a quiet forested setting.  Located on Spring Street.
Father Ryc Park - Ipswich
Small park with playground equipment and picnic area.  Located on the Ipswich River.   Take Estes Street to Kimball Street.
Giles Firmin Park - Ipswich
Small park suitable for picnics.  Playground equipment.  Located on County Road
Russell Orchards - Ipswich
Pick your own fresh fruit and vegetables.  Family recreation.  Farm animals for petting, play area and picnic area.  Great place to take children for a leisure afternoon and don't miss the cider donuts!
Howe Street Park - Ipswich
Small park suitable for picnics.  Playground equipment.  Located off of Linebrook Road.
Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, Massachusetts Audubon Society - Topsfield
Home of the Rockery.  Numerous nature trails and specimen trees.   Classes and courses offered year round for adults and children.  Located on Perkins Row.
Pavilion Beach/Great Neck Park - Ipswich
Beach at entrance to Little Neck with playground facilities nearby.
Willowdale State Park - Ipswich
Great hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing.  Main entrance of of Route 1 hear Hood Pond.
